About Dave.
Dave is a man who enjoys a challenge and still has a great enthusiasm for software/electrical development. He has been a software programmer for over 20 years, a large portion of which was spent self-employed, a situation which forced him to expand his skill set to produce full software and electrical based solutions for machine retrofits as well as new builds.
Dave started his programming career at Giddings & Lewis in 1998 and in 2003 broke away to form his own company. Over the following years Dave developed a strong relationship with B&R Automation and became a system integrator for them.
During his time with Giddings & Lewis he worked closely with a company which at the time employed both Mosi and Mulemba and after re-connecting through business connections they both had, he agreed to join 2M in 2021.
Dave has a strong electrical understanding which allows electrical machine development alongside his software skills to provide complete solutions. He is relishing being back in a team environment with skilled friendly people.
I believe life is about balance, something which joining 2M allowed me to do. My new position keeps me at home a lot more and allows me to have more time with my wife and children, my greatest love.
I have been playing the guitar since I was 14 years old, having a great love for rock which culminated in being in a Led Zeppelin tribute band for 10 years. I am still in a working band now doing a wider variety of music to suits weddings and parties which I have been doing for over 10 years now. I find playing music a great escape!
